Mornings like today remind me just how important it is to stop and breathe in all that is around you.

We took the kids to get pumpkins at the local farmers market this weekend and hung up as much Halloween decor as we could. Our weekends are our busiest time with two self-employed parents in the house but we still try hard to fit in the fun for them.

This morning the boys just wanted to be with the pumpkins on the front porch so I obliged. I love how they talk to the pumpkins and the witch and other creatures hanging out on our porch now every time we walk up to the house.

The porch was dirty and we all need haircuts, but these are the moments I don't ever want to forget.
